Luke started his passion with teaching at age nine when he enrolled in private music lessons. While learning the fundamental techniques of set drumming, Luke joined multiple bands which helped to develop his musical understanding of popular genres. Hungering to understand more about the percussive arts Luke joined his high school’s concert and marching band where he developed his understanding of music theory and dived even deeper into the techniques of drumming. Once graduated, Luke went on to be his high school’s percussion instructor winning best percussion at many competitions. Luke has over ten years of teaching experience! Today, his passion thrives in private music lessons where he instills his students with a drive to be all they can be in the percussive arts.
